Vancott House

In 1998 we built the "Vancott House," a 2500 square foot hipped roof cottage with Frank Lloyd Wright inspired elements. This truly American bungalow has features that include a stone and timber entry, genuine slate porches & baths, custom interior doors, hardwood flooring, "Mission" style trim throughout, and a central stone fireplace. In 2001 we were asked to return to finish out the living areas of the basement. These treatments included slate flooring throughout, shoulder high paneling, more custom doors, and a general extension of what we had started upstairs. Our commitment to our customers' satisfaction is important and is why we were awarded the return buisiness.

The front door shown above is just one of the doors Open Collar Carpentry, Inc. built for the project.
